Join Us for the 2026 ESD Level 1 Instructor Training – Building a Safer, More Empowered World Together ESD Albania and ESD Europe invite you to take part in the Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) Level 1 Training, taking place in May 2026 in Albania, as part of the 2026 ESD Training Cycle. This training marks an important step for those who wish to become Empowerment Self-Defense instructors or integrate ESD into their educational, community, or professional work. It offers a structured, high-quality pathway to develop both the theoretical understanding and the embodied practice of ESD—an evidence-based, holistic methodology that promotes violence prevention, personal safety, and empowerment. The program consists of two interconnected phases: Phase 1: Online Preparatory Training (March 2026) – introducing ESD’s core principles, teaching skills, and empowerment theory. Phase 2: In-Person Training (26-31 May 2026, Albania) – focusing on hands-on practice, facilitation skills, and community impact.
